Altijd doen wat je moet doen en nooit voorspelbaar zijn. Het is een filosofie waar wij dames van houden! Vanaf de eerste minuut dat de KANEpromoladies online MaYhEm gingen verkopen deden ze lekker eigenwijs hun ding; love us or hate us darlings… We gingen voor meer (community marketing weet je wel), stijlvol (natuurlijk) en de in your face mentaliteit (de dames zitten overal). En omdat we zo lekker onvoorspelbaar zijn… tijd voor verandering. Om het fris en spannend te houden. Of anders gezegd: Innovate never imitate!
Zoals geweten houden de KANEpromoladies van en maken ze intensief gebruik van social media sites en new media. En dus verhuizen we naar Wordpress. Omdat de Wordpress filosofie perfect aansluit bij die van de dames.

New hangout

Always do your own thing and never ever be predictable. We ladies love this philosophy! From day one the KANEpromoladies got online and started making trouble they were known for their mMaYhEm; love us or hate us darlings… It had to be more (community marketing as it’s called), stylish (as it is) and we use the in your face mentality (the ladies are everywhere). And just because we’re delish’ unpredictable… time for a change. To keep things fresh and exciting. Or in other words: innovate never imitate!
It’s a known fact the KANEpromoladies love and use social media sites and new media on a daily base. Ad so we’re moving to Wordpress. Because the Wordpress philosophy connects with that of the ladies.

KANE in the UK

Al een aantal weken kijken de heren van KANE samen hun fans terug op de voorbije 10 KANE jaren. Herinneringen -mooie, intense, blije…- komen weer terug en zo ook leuke opnames uit binnen- en buitenland. Sommige komen van de band zelf (leuke hobby heb je Dennus haha) maar vaak ook van trouwe fans. En zo staat op de video pagina van Kane-rocks.uk, de Engelse KANE fansite van Gina, een interview sessie met Dinand en Dennis nav de Rain down on me single. Altijd leuk om de heren het een keer in het Engels te horen uitleggen zo begrepen we al van een aantal buitenlandse fans.. He Claudia ;) .

For a few weeks now the guys from KANE and their fans are looking back on 10 years KANE. Memories -sweet, intense, happy ones…- keep on coming back as is footage from trips abroad and footage made in the Netherlands. Some made by the band (nice hobby you got Dennus haha) but often made by loyal fans. And so we can find on the video page of Kane-rocks.uk, the English KANE fansite of Gina, an interview session with Dinand and Dennis in light of the Rain down on me single. Always awesome to understand what the guys are talking about some fans from abroad told us.. Ain’t that so Claudia ;) .

Op Zaterdag 8 augustus staat KANE op het podium van Zandstock . De organisatie van Zandstock is enorm blij met de komst van KANE en kondigde dit een aantal weken geleden met trots aan op hun website.
Wij mogen van diezelfde organisatie 1 duo-ticket voor Zandstock verloten (voor 8 augustus, de dag dat KANE er op het podium staat) aan de bezoekers van de KANEpromoladies website! On Saturday the 8th of August KANE will perform on the stage of the Zandstock festival in the Netherlands. The team that organise Zandstock were very pleased to announce KANE was to be found on their line-up as we could read up on their website a few weeks ago.
So pleased they gave us 2 tickets for their festival (for the 8th of August, the day KANE will perform) to hand out to the visitors of our website! You want to see KANE on stage at Zandstock? Vanaf vandaag zet de KANE hyves de spotlight op het jaar 2005 net als wij op onze KANEpromoladies sites de KANE flashback op de voet volgen... 2005 was het jaar waarin het KANE album Fearless gereleased werd en de singles Something to say, Fearless en All I can do. Een aangepaste Fearless Hyves layout, officiële clips en fan opnames, een nieuwe update over wat er in 2005 zoal met de band en privé gebeurde is te vinden op de KANE hyves.

Something for the Road

Dinand geeft muziektips op de KANE hyves vanmiddag:
We krijgen veel vragen op onze hyves. Vaak ook willen fans wat vertellen. Soms openbaar, soms meer prive. Soms diep, vaak niet ha, ha. Vaak gaat het over muziek en wat wij zoal luisteren... Nou is het antwoord ook vaak wat breed; ‘Wij luisteren van links naar rechts, onder naar boven. Alles wat leuk of goed is. Rock, dance, pop, whatever...’
Nou wil ik wel ietsje specifieker worden onder het mom van ‘Something for the road’. Voor al die aankomende reistrips in auto, vliegtuig, boot... of natuurlijk lekker thuis en de vakantie die daar bij hoort. Mijn vakantietrip-Ipod-vullers! Gelijk een stukje antwoord op de steeds terugkomende leuke vraag; ‘Dinand heb je nog wat leuks?’

We get a lot of questions at the hyves. Often fans just want to tell us something. For all to read, sometimes in private. Sometimes serious stuff, often not so ha, ha. Often it’s about music and what we’re listening... And the answer to that isn’t that clear; ‘We listen to about everything out there. Everything that’s fun or good. Rock, dance, pop, whatever...’
And as it’s holiday time I’d like to specify things in light of that ‘Something for the road’ vibe. To listen to on those road-, airplane- or boat-trips... Or at home. My vacationtrip-Ipod-fillers! And to give the answer to the most asked question; ‘Got something fun for us Dinand?’

oproep aan alle KANE fans

Het tv-programma Opsporing Verzocht besteedt komende dinsdag uitgebreid aandacht aan de vermissingzaak Henk Peters. Sinds woensdagavond 29 april wordt de 41-jarige man uit Doorwerth vermist. Henk bezocht die avond het concert van KANE op de Markt in Arnhem. Sindsdien ontbreekt van hem ieder spoor. De politie houdt ernstig rekening met een misdrijf.
Henk is een blanke man van 1,75 m lang, heeft een tenger postuur en donkerblond/grijzig haar. Hij is brildragend en heeft een snor. Hij droeg een korte zwarte jas, een T-shirt met vermoedelijk een brandweerlogo, een zwarte broek en zwarte leren schoenen.
Er wordt gezocht naar mensen die meer informatie hebben over de verdwijning of die Henk tijdens het concert mogelijk op foto of film hebben vastgelegd.

DIT IS WAAR WE HET VOOR DOEN...

Gisteren smeet Dinand een nieuwe update op KANE.nl.
Zal het dan zo zijn dat misschien wel de twee fraaiste liedjes op onze aankomende plaat in nog geen tien minuten zijn geschreven en kwamen op een moment dat we het eigenlijk helemaal niet in de gaten hadden? Ik zeg ja. Ik teken er ook gelijk voor. De nieuwe KANE plaat gaat juist die kant op.
En zo wachten we gisteren heel even op Ivo die ietsje later was. Ik zat wat te klooien op Robin’s gitaar in een oefenruimte die veel te warm is, ook al om tien uur in de ochtend... Twee takes later hadden we er zo eentje. Drie minuten die zo maar uit de lucht lijkt te vallen en vervolgens iedereen verbaasd laat staan. Dit is waar het om gaat. Dat onvoorspelbare. Kadootjes van uit... tja van waar? Geen idee. Maar laat maar vallen hoor. Wij staan hier nog wel een paar weken. Yes! Dit is waar we het voor doen.
Misschien wel meer dan ooit. D.
Ps. We kregen vriendelijke tips van oude bekenden van ons die later de Zwarte Cross zijn begonnen. Iets over borst naar voren en altijd recht op je plek staan. Daar willen we ze toch nog even voor bedanken. Dat vinden wij ook belangrijk.
En mochten jullie crossers soms even bij ons op die rug willen klimmen om iets te zeggen, dan komen we samen van ver genoeg om te weten hoe dat moet. Succes dit jaar jongens. - Dinand verwijst hier naar de opmerking van de organisatie van de Zwarte Cross waarvan er een update op het Haags Pop Podium staat.

Yesterday Dinand slammed an New update on KANE.nl.
Could it be that we’ve recorded the two best tracks on our next to be released album in less then 10 minutes at a moment we weren’t even paying attention ? Might be the case. Signing up for that. The New KANE album is what that’s all about.
yesterday we were waiting on Ivo to arrive, just a bit late he was. I was messing around with Robin’s guitar at our rehearsal room that felt like a sauna even when it was only 10 o’clock at morning... Two takes later we found it. Three minutes that came falling out of the sky and stunned everyone. That’s what it’s all about. That unpredictable thing. Gifts from... Where? No idea. But keep them coming. We’ll be here a few more weeks. Yes! That’s what we’re doing it for.

Ps. We got some friendly advice from old friends who started up the Zwarte Cross festival a while ago. On giving oneself airs and standing ground. We’d like to thank them for that. We think this is very important.

Ook de KANEpromoladies kregen een uitnodiging voor de KANE fansite special gig in Rotterdam. Maar de ene lady zat nog bij de Denen, de andere lady was grieperig en deze lady twijfelde tussen alvast vertrekken richting Glastonbury of toch nog snel een KANE’tje meepikken. Met als resultaat dat we ook dit jaar de uitnodiging van de heren en dames moesten afwijzen. So we didn’t make it, again. Maar gelukkig gingen anderen - de vele enthousiaste fansite/hyves/blog webmasters - er wél heen en hebben zij in geuren en kleuren verslagen geschreven over dit exclusieve KANE concert met de mooiste sfeerfoto‘s en filmpjes natuurlijk. The KANEpromoladies also received an invite for the KANE fansite special gig in Rotterdam. But one lady was still hanging with those Danes, the other had a spot of flu and this lady was in doubt whether to leave for Glastonbury or to get sweaty at KANE’s before leaving. And so it happened we declined the ladies and gents’ invite again this year. So we didn’t make it, again. But luckely others - the many enthusiastic fansite/hyves/blog webmasters - did go and they wrote colorfull reports about this exclusive KANE concert and took awesome pictures and made great recordings of that night. Vannacht smeet Dinand een update op de KANE hyves:
En dus sloten we vandaag af op het Indian Summer ergens boven Alkmaar. Dat festival groeit elke keer groter en mooier. Eervol om af te sluiten met een dag vol mooie bands. Het was goed daar. Veel mensen en goede energie. Het is ook heel even schakelen naar die andere kant nu. Deze week begint deel twee van de voorbereidingen voor het nieuwe album. Vanaf woensdag is het de volgende versnelling in op weg naar de studiomaand augustus. Spannend dus. Ook heel goed. op naar t nieuwe!
Indian Summer bedankt, die hards en minder die hards bedankt! Altijd goed om het te voelen. Weltrusten voor nu en goedemorgen voor zo. Adios, D.

INDIAN SUMMERS AND AFTER...

And so we concluded the day at the Indian Summer somewhere at the proximity of Alkmaar, The Netherlands. That festival is getting more popular and busy each year. It was an honour to end the day that was filled with awesome bands. Good vibe. Lots of people and good energy. On to the next level for us now. This week we kick of part two of our New album preparations. As of Wednesday we’re on to our August studio recordings month. Exciting stuff. Very good. On to new things!

Speciaal voor het RTL Viert De Zomer Concert bouwen we het strand om tot een echte concert locatie met alles er op en er aan. Terwijl de zon in de zee zakt programmeren wij de beste artiesten voor een fantastische zomeravond: KANE, vanVelzen, STEREO en van Dik Hout! Het ‘RTL Viert De Zomer Concert’ sluiten we af met een spectaculair vuurwerk om de zomer gezamenlijk zo goed mogelijk te vieren. We will rebuild the beach to a real concert venue especialy for the RTL Viert De Zomer Concert. While sun sets into the ocean we’ll headline the best artists to enjoy an amazing summer evening: KANE, vanVelzen, STEREO and van Dik Hout! The ‘RTL Viert De Zomer Concert’ will end with a spectacular firework display to celebrate the summer. 2002 - KANE flashback

Vanaf vandaag zet de KANE hyves de spotlight op het jaar 2002 net als wij op onze KANEpromoladies sites de KANE flashback op de voet volgen... 2002 was het jaar waarin de KANEsingles Let It Be, Hold On To The World en Rain Down On Me gereleased werden. Een aangepaste Hyves layout, officiële clips en fan opnames, een update van Dinand over wat er 2002 zoal met de band gebeurde en natuurlijk ook weer fan collector items van die dagen zijn te vinden op de KANE Hyves.

En dus zat het er al jaren aan te komen. De vraag werd al jaren gesteld, maar gisteren was het dan eindelijk zover. KANE in het ADO-stadion. Het is waar; mijn week was een bizarre week. Net een week geleden getrouwd, daarna van het een in het andere door gevallen en uiteindelijk vanacht, na een geweldige gig en afterparty, thuis gekomen om eens voor het eerst te kunnen terugkijken....

It’s been something that’s been due for years. The question had been asked years ago, but yesterday we answered it. KANE at the ADO-stadium. It’s true; I’ve had a bizar week. Got married a week ago, fell from one thing into another and finally tonight, after a awesome gig and afterparty, arrived back home to reflect on things....

SOLD OUT!

Gelezen op de site van het Haags Pop Podium:
Alle kaarten voor het concert dat Kane morgen geeft in het ADO Stadion zijn verkocht. Vandaag beslist de Raad van State in Den Haag of het optreden mag doorgaan. Een omwonende van het voetbalstadion bij het Prins Clausplein is naar de rechter gestapt, omdat er nog steeds geen milieuvergunning zou zijn voor het concert.
Als de rechter toestemming geeft voor het optreden, geldt voor morgenavond het volgende tijdschema: 18.30 uur: Deuren open - 20.00 uur: Optreden Stereo - 21.00 uur: Optreden Kane - 23.00 uur: Einde concert.
UPDATE1: Via Omroep West kregen we volgend binnen: de zitting is op het moment geschorst. De klager wil anoniem blijven, het gaat hem niet om Kane maar om het principe. Alle betrokkenen zijn op het moment gehoord. Rond half 2 is de uitspraak deze zaak. De rechter had nog nooit van kane gehoord.

All tickets for the Kane concert at the ADO Stadium on Saturday are gone. The event is SOLD OUT. Today there will be a hearing at the Raad van State in The Hague tomorrow (Friday) concerning the Kane concert at the ADO Stadium which is planned on Saturday. A neighbour who lives near the soccer stadium at the Prins Clausplein went to court, as there is no licence for the concert.
If the judge gives the all clear for the event, following time table is in use tomorrow: 18.30 uur: Deuren open - 20.00 uur: Optreden Stereo - 21.00 uur: Optreden Kane - 23.00 uur: Einde concert.
UPDATE1: Following was mentioned on Omroep West : the hearing is suspended at the moment. The plaintiff wants to remain anonymus, he wants to make a statement and has nothing against Kane. All parties have been heared. A final verdict will be given at 14:00 local time. The judge is stated to have never heared of Kane before.

Het Nederlandse AD had een interview met Dinand:
De grootste egotripper uit de rock zou hij zijn. Nietsontziend schoof Dinand Woesthoff (36) opstandige bandleden terzijde. Privé volgde tegenslag op tegenslag. De zwaarste klap: de dood van zijn echtgenote Guusje Nederhorst in 2004. Maar Dinand Woesthoff heeft, betoogt hij in een openhartige monoloog, ‘echt mazzel gehad’. Zaterdagavond speelt hij met Kane in het ADO Den Haag stadion.

He’s been called the biggest ego-tripper in Dutch rock. Dinand Woesthoff (36) has been known to show revolting band members the door. His privat life is filled with drama. Most terrible: the dead of his wife Guusje Nederhorst in 2004. But Dinand Woesthoff tells us in a very honest talk, ‘he’s been lucky’. Geen ADO?

Gelezen op de site van het Haags Pop Podium: Bij de Raad van State in Den Haag dient morgen (Vrijdag) een rechtszaak over het voor zaterdag geplande concert van de rockband Kane in het ADO Stadion. Een omwonende van het voetbalstadion bij het Prins Clausplein is naar de rechter gestapt, omdat er nog steeds geen milieuvergunning zou zijn voor het concert. De gemeente Den Haag heeft de milieuvergunning nog niet afgegeven, maar wil het concert gedogen als proef. Er worden ook geluidsmetingen verricht om te kijken of de geluidsoverlast binnen de normen blijft. De Raad van State behandelt de bezwaren tijdens een spoedzitting, de rechter besluit dan of het concert een dag later mag doorgaan of niet.
Bij ATproductions of ADO was niemand bereikbaar voor commentaar. We houden jullie op de hoogte van zodra we hierover meer nieuws krijgen…

Read on the Haags Pop Podium website: there will be a hearing at the Raad van State in The Hague tomorrow (Friday) concerning the Kane concert at the ADO Stadium which is planned on Saturday. ADO bijna uitverkocht!

Gelezen op de site van het Haags Pop Podium: De kaarten voor het Kane concert van aanstaande zaterdag in het ADO Stadion zijn bijna allemaal verkocht. Dat meldt TV West. Het ADO Stadion zal zaterdag voor het eerst als poppodium dienen. In samenwerking met de gemeente worden tijdens het concert geluidsmetingen verricht, om te kijken of omwonenden overlast ervaren. Als het proefconcert slaagt, is het de bedoeling dat het stadion in de toekomst vaker voor concerten gebruikt wordt.
Voor het concert van Kane en support-act Stereo zijn nog enkele honderden kaarten te koop. De voorverkoop loopt via de website www.ad.nl/kane

Read on the Haags Pop Podium website: tickets for the Kane concert at the ADO Stadium this Saturday are nearly sold out. This was reported by Dutch television channel TV West. The ADO Stadium will be used as a musicstage for the first time this Saturday. In cooperation with the city of The Hague there will be taken a sound study to see if the neighbourhood doensn’t experience any negative effect during the concert. When this try-out concert is seen as succesful, there is a chance more concerts will take place there in future.

It’s a nice day

Wij draaien al het hele weekend it’s a nice day for a WHITE WEDDING met de volume knop helemaal open op endless repeat… nu weten onze buren meteen waarom… want de Nederlandse media melden dat gisteren Dinand Woesthoff en zijn Lucy op het zonnige Ibiza in het huwelijksbootje gestapt zijn. How ‘bout that!! ;)
Vanuit een zonnig en warm Antwerpen ontzettend veel gelukwensen, hartverwarmende momenten met z‘n beide en de kids en van al dat nog meer en meer en.. Meer ;)
UPDATE: RTL Boulevard had een interview met een stralend verliefde Dinand die over zijn Lucy, trouwen en Guusje praat… en dat met een grote glimlach.

We’ve been playing it’s a nice day for a WHITE WEDDING on max. volume and on endless repeat for the whole weekend now… and now our neighbours will know why… as the Dutch media announced that Dinand Woesthoff and his Lucy got married yesterday on sunny Ibiza. How ‘bout that!! ;)
From the heart of a sunny and warm Antwerp we’d like to wish the newly-weds all the luck, heartwarming moments with the kids and so much more and more… and more ;)

De regionale omroep TV West zendt donderdag 11 juni een Kane-special uit in het programma Kek. De omroep maakt een uitzending met unieke backstagebeelden van het concert dat Kane op 6 juni geeft in het ADO Stadion, aangevuld met interviews en fragmenten van het concert. De Kane-special wordt donderdag 11 juni vanaf 17.26 uur ieder uur uitgezonden. Op vrijdag 12 juni zijn er herhalingen tot 16.30 uur.

The Dutch tv-channel TV West will broadcast a Kane-special on Thursday the 11th of June, during the show Kek. This will be a unique special with backstage footage taken during the Kane concert on the 6th of june at the ADO Stadion and interviews and footage from the concert.
The Kane-special will be broadcasted on Thursday the 11th of June starting from 17u26 local time and repeated each hour. On Friday the 12th of June the special will be repeated until 16u30 local time.

De KANE twitter bevestigd dat KANE op Zondag 30 augustus op het podium van Goes in concert zal staan. Via goesinconcert.nl ( met overigens spectaculaire promo voor KANE - wij zaten lekker meer te dansen en te zingen hier! ) lezen we dat ook Boris, Beef, Melou, The Stereo Divas en een spectaculaire Afrikaanse openingsact op het podium staan op 30 augustus. Alle info aangaande kaartverkoop kan je vinden via deze link en we geven nog mee dat morgen - Donderdag 21 mei - de vvk al vanaf 10.00 start.

KANE @ Appelpop

Nadat eerder de naam van Golden Earring al naar buiten werd gebracht, heeft Stichting Muziekstad Tiel zaterdagmiddag bekend gemaakt dat dit jaar ook Kane zal optreden op het Tielse popfestival Appelpop. Op vrijdag 11 en zaterdag 12 september staan behalve de twee Haagse rockgroepen ook de Tielse bands Cool Ice Crush Killers, The Righteous and the Bad en Unlocked Memories op de affiche. Deze drie bands speelden zich in de kijker tijdens bandwedstrijd Parel van de Betuwe en zullen op het derde Appelpop-podium optreden..
KANE zal volgens het management op Vrijdag 11 september het Appelpop festival afsluiten. Appelpop is gratis toegankelijk.

After the Golden Earring got confirmed to perform at Appelpop festival, Stichting Muziekstad Tiel announced on Saturday this year KANE will also perform on popfestival Appelpop. On Friday the 11th and Saturday the 12th of September both rockbands and bands Cool Ice Crush Killers, The Righteous and the Bad en Unlocked Memories will be on stage. These three bands were eye catchers during the band contest ‘Parel van de Betuwe’ and will perform on the thirth Appelpop-stage..
KANE will be headliner, according to their management, on Friday the 11th of September. Appelpop doesn’t use an entrance fee.

On Friday the 12th of June KANE will perform on stage at Venlo, The Netherlands. This event is organized by Big Hand Events. They announced this concert as following on their website: The band that revolves around lead singer Dinand Woesthoff and guitarist Dennis van Leeuwen will give the audiance a spectacular concert at the New event site at Venlo-Blerick. Next to several chart hits, awards won and performances in The Netherlands and far abroad this superband is known for their sensational shows during their concerts. Both on the musical and visual aspect their concerts are far above average level! Support acts: STEREO & Cooper inc. -- Location: Kazerne terrein Venlo-Blerick, The Netherlands.
Big Hand Events hand out 2 tickets (or 1 duo-tickets) to the visitors of the KANEpromoladies website! Are you up for a night at in Venlo with KANE on the 12th of June? Gelezen op de NPI site:
Muziek Centrum Nederland heeft vandaag de nominaties bekendgemaakt van de Duiveltjes 2008 voor beste popmuzikanten van Nederland. Popmuzikanten kozen welke collega-popartiesten zij het best vonden van het afgelopen jaar. Onder de genomineerden in de categorie ‘beste gitarist’ vinden we Dennis van Leeuwen en in de categorie ‘beste bassist’ oud KANE bandlid Manuel Hugas. Noem ons bevooroordeeld maar wij gaan zo hard duimen voor deze twee heren ;)
De prijzen worden in zes categorieën uitgereikt tijdens het Gala van de Popmuziek op woensdag 20 mei in de nieuwe Rabozaal van de Melkweg. Diezelfde avond worden ook de IJzeren Podiumdieren bekendgemaakt, de ereprijzen voor de Nederlandse poppodia en popfestivals, gekozen door een jury. Het Gala van de Popmuziek is alleen op uitnodiging te bezoeken.

Muziek Centrum Nederland made the nominations for the Duiveltjes 2008 for best Dutch pop musicians public today. Dutch popmusicians selected their favourite colleague from the past year. Amongst the nominated musicians we can find Dennis van Leeuwen in the category ‘best guitarist’ and former KANE band member Manuel Hugas in the category ‘best bass player‘. Call us prejudiced but we’re gonna pray these guys win ;)
The awards will be handed out during an awards show - het Gala van de Popmuziek - on Wednesday the 20th of May at the New Rabozaal at the Melkweg venue. That same night the winners of the IJzeren Podiumdieren will be announced, which awards the best Dutch poppodium and popfestivals, chosen by a jury. The awards show - Het Gala van de Popmuziek - can only be attended after an invitation was granted.

Radio 3FM zoekt het meest favoriete Pinkpop moment nav de 40ste editie van Pinkpop dit jaar. Pinkpop heeft in die lange historie vele muzikale hoogtepunten beleefd. Uit de waslijst aan roemruchte optredens is door een team van deskundigen een selectie van de 100 beste, meest spraakmakende of spektaculaire optredens gemaakt. En ook KANE vinden we hier in terug en wel met Rain down on me van Pinkpop 2002.

Damn Those Eyes

KANE gaat verder met het terugkijken op hun 10 jaar. Vandaag werd de KANE hyves layout aangepast met de Damn Those Eyes single cover, staan de gelijknamige 2de KANE clip en de making off hiervan op Youtube en staat er een nieuwe update van Dennis over deze single en wat er die periode met het jonge bandje gebeurde te lezen. KANE continue their time travelling and changed their KANE hyves with the Damn Those Eyes single cover layout today and added the video of this 2nd KANE single along with a making off and a New update written by Dennis on this single and the stuff that was going on in their lives during the release back then. 10 JAAR KANE

En de ladies zijn back van een druk huwelijks/BBQ feestjes weekend. Mooi weer, mooie mensen, goede muziek en het is pas mei… dat word een zwoele zomer haha! Zoals we afgelopen Vrijdag al online smeten de KANE hyves is gestart met het terugkijken op 10 jaar KANE. Naast filmpjes uit die tijd zal je er de komende weken/maanden ook updates van de heren vinden over toen en andere dingen als bijvoorbeeld een artikel uit de privé collectie KANE knipsels. Allemaal te kicken om lezen en kijken.
Dé hotspot de komende weken/maanden is dus de KANE hyves check dus regelmatig in daar! Maar ook hier bij deze ladies kunnen jullie terecht voor wedstrijden en leuke dingetjes nav 10 jaar KANE. Spannend allemaal he… nu die zwoele zomer nog regelen ;)

Flashback time!

And the ladies are back home after a busy wedding/BBQ party weekend. Beautiful wheater, lovely people, awesome music and it’s only May… that’ll be one hot summer haha! As we updated last Friday the KANE hyves started the flashback on 10 years KANE. Next to film-recordings from the early KANE days you‘ll be finding updates from the guys about those days and other things like an article from the privat collection KANE snippets (in Dutch) in the upcoming weeks/months. All awesome things to read and watch. - unfortunaltly these updates/articles are in Dutch but I will make sure to make translations *Krisje.
So the hotspot in the next weeks/months is the KANE hyves so make sure to check in there frequently. But also right here with us ladies you can find contests and exciting stuff to celebrate those 10 years KANE. Exciting no… now all we got to take care of is that hot summer ;)

De KANE hyves is vandaag omgetoverd met een where do I go single cover layout en een KANE tijdlijn. En er staat een te kicken update te lezen!
Ben jij er ook zo een die z'n verjaardag eigenlijk niet wil vieren. En als je het dan toch doet (of het wordt voor je gedaan... surprise!) dan is het eigenlijk best leuk? Wij wel. 10 jaar KANE voelt voor ons als een heel leven en eigenlijk ook niet. We zitten op dit moment in de studio aan plaat 5 te werken en we zijn zo blij als een stel jonge honden met het resultaat. Da's goed nieuws. Voor ons en voor de fans van KANE.

Flashback time!

The KANE hyves has been transformed with a where do I go single cover layout and a KANE timeline. And in addition to that a very awesome update!
Are you also somebody that doesn’t want to celebrate his/her birthday. And if you do (or they surprise you with a party) you really enjoy it? We’re that kind. 10 years KANE feels like a lifetime for us and at the same time it doesn’t. We’re currently working in the studio on our 5th album and we’re happy as youngsters with the result so far. Very good news right. For us and for all you fans.

TMF AWARDS & Hemelse honderd

Via de KANE hyves word er vandaag opgeroepen om te stemmen:
Zorg ervoor dat KANE genomineerd wordt voor een TMF Award! Stem per categorie op KANE om ervoor te zorgen dat zij genomineerd worden voor een TMF Award. KANE staat in de lijst van de categorie beste live act, en in de andere categorien kan je KANE zelf invullen ! Op woensdag 27 mei, maakt TMF bekend welke artiesten kans maken op die felbegeerde award. Per categorie worden drie artiesten genomineerd en jij bepaalt wie er uiteindelijk met een TMF Award naar huis gaat! DUS... ga naar de TMF Awards website en STEM KANE NAAR DIE TMF AWARDDDSSS!!!
En op donderdag 21 mei kan je op 3FM de Hemelse honderd beluisteren. Je kan voor deze hemelse hitlijst al een tijdje stemmen en dus ook voor KANE. Make sure KANE gets nominated for a TMF Award! Vote at each categorie on KANE to make sure they’ll get nominated for a TMF Award. KANE can be found in the categorie best live act, and in all other categories you can fill in KANE yourself! On wednesday the 27th of May TMF will make public which artists are nominated to win this award. Per categorie three artists will be selected and your vote counts! SO... visit TMF Awards website and VOTE KANE TO THE TMF AWARDDDSSS!!!
And on Thursday the 21th of May it’s time for the Hemelse honderd (heavenly hundred) on Dutch radio 3FM. The list is chosen by the 3FM listeners and votes can be granted for a while now. Bevrijdingsfestival pics + winnaars

Gisteren stond KANE op het podium van het bevrijdingsfestival Flevoland. Deze ladies waren er niet bij want hadden een date met de dame van la fille d’O en wat andere interessante mensen… deze keer won lingerie, wijn en een leuke babbel het van kicken gitaar riffs en een enthousiaste zanger. Deze ene keer dan, beloofd haha. Voor de foto’s van KANE in Almere surf je best ff naar de Podiuminfo site of de Bevrijdingsfestival Flevoland site.
De winnaars van onze win een Oerrock duo-ticket krijgen vandaag nog een mailtje van ons in de mailbox… bedankt iedereen om deel te nemen. En gefeliciteerd aan de winnaars.

Yesterday the guys from KANE performed at the bevrijdingsfestival in Flevoland, The Netherlands. We ladies were not present as we were on a date with the lady behind la fille d’O and a few other interesting people… this time lingerie, wine and cosy talks got the upper hand on amazing guitaar riffs and an enthousiastic lead singer.
