Goodbye 2008…

KANE knalde zoals beloofd de eerste minuten van 2008 in met een wat ‘mistige’ Catwalk Criminal vanop een ponton aan de Erasmusbrug. Om dan in diezelfde mist te verdwijnen en het langverwachte nieuwe album af te gaan afwerken in de All Aire studios en de vertrouwde Wisseloord studio. Ergens maart werd de druk voor de band verhoogd en kregen de fans te horen dat er een try-out tour kwam. In april zaten D. en Dennis compleet in a NY state of mind, kregen de Belgische fans te horen dat KANE weer snel op de Belgische festivals/podia zou staan en kondigde D. aan redacteur te worden van zijn eigen magazine. Het werd mei en daar lag ze dan: die sexy EVERYTHINGYOUWANT in stores! Keith Caputo werd als support act gekozen voor de try-out tour. Naast een gouden plaat werd er in juni ook de grens met België overgestoken en werd spelen in de KUIP realiteit voor KANE. Hartje zomer ging de EVERYTHINGYOUWANT tour los. In november lag de CD/DVD registratie van het Kuip concert netjes op tijd in de winkels, kreeg Dennis z’n solo moment bij Peter en mochten wij op onze KANEpromoladies site de Belgische fans verwennen met de stel een vraag aan Dinand en Dennis wedstrijd. Rond kerst namen radio538 en KANE een 100 tal uitzinnig blije fans mee naar Londen voor een exclusieve set waarbij Dinand zijn huwelijk met Lucy aankondigde…
Het was een KANEjaar vol nieuwe en oude dingen en een paar onverwachte wendingen maar bovenal een jaar vol EVERYTHING YOU WANTED! Toch?! Wij weten gewoon nu al dat 2009 een mindblowing KANEjaar zal worden, met ongelooflijk leuke KANE wedstrijden, -concerten en -verrassingen, want… 10 jaar KANE dat is meer dan reden voor een ‘klein’ feestje. Nederland, België en hey de f*ng wereld kan daar gewoon niet omheen. Dus… van deze twee Belgische brunettes alvast een schitterend 2009 gewenst gevuld met al wat je hartje kan verlangen en wij zien jullie sexy ladies en gents snel weer bij KANE!

Happy 2009!

KANE kicked off - as promised - the New year with a rather misty version of Catwalk Criminal on a pontoon at the Erasmus bridge, Rotterdam, during those first minutes of 2008. They disapeared after that to work on the long awaited New album at the All Aire studios and Wisseloord studio. Somewhere in March the guys added some tension by announcing a try-out tour to their fans. Once April D. and Dennis were in a NY state of mind, the Belgian fans were pleased to hear they’d see KANE play at their festivals/venues that summer and D. announced he’d be editor of his very own magazine. The month of May came and there she was: that sexy EVERYTHINGYOUWANT was to be found in stores! Keith Caputo was chosen as the support act on the try-out tour. Next to a golden record in June the guys also crossed the Belgian border and playing at the De Kuip venue became real to them. At the heart of summer the EVERYTHINGYOUWANT tour set the mood. In November the CD/DVD of the De Kuip concert was available in stores, Dennis got his solo moment on stage in a Belgian tv show and we could make the Belgian fans very happy thanks to the ask a question to Dinand and Dennis contest on our KANEpromoladies site. Christmas came and Dutch radio 538 and KANE took a hundred Dutch fans on a trip to London for an exclusive concert where Dinand announced he and Lucy are getting married…
It was a KANE year filled with New and old things along with a few unexpected twists but above all a year of EVERYTHING YOU WANTED! Wasn’t it?! We just know 2009 will be a mindblowing KANE year, with amazing KANE competitions, -concerts and -surprises. Let’s be honest… 10 years of KANE that’s got to be a reason to have a ‘small’ party. The Netherlands, Belgium and hey the f*ng world just can’t ignore that fact. So… from these two Belgian brunettes the best wishes for the New year, may you have an excellent 2009 filled with everything your hearts can wish for and we’ll see you sexy ladies and gents real soon at KANE!

London Calling feedback

En dus mochten er dit weekend een 100 tal radio 538 winnaars genieten van een exclusief KANE concert in de Metropolis studios in Londen… veel om te doen geweest maar Zaterdagavond was het dan eindelijk van dattem; Dinand zei welcome 2 London en de fans kregen een lekkere set waarin oude KANEsongs afgewisseld werd met het nieuwere werk en alles mooi eindigde met de unieke -Let‘s get married Luce - versie van It’s London calling… hartverwarmend toch… van deze ladies (en waarschijnlijk ook snel van de halve wereld) gefeliciteerd lieve schatten… dat feest word ongetwijfeld mindblowing lekker en het getrouwde leventje van t’zelfde, no doubt haha.
Gina, je weet wel Miss G. of de allerrrrrrgrootste KANEfan uit de UK - oh yes she is!-, was er Zaterdag natuurlijk ook bij en nam een paar sfeerfoto’s en schreef er een verslagje over op haar site Kane Rocks! En als je’t nog niet doorhad Miss G. is helemaal terug van weggeweest en zal dus weer actief haar site gaan updaten en met ons en jullie uit haar dak gaan op KANEconcerten in 2009... and Gina we soooo like that!!!

And so no more then a hundred lucky 538 competition winners got acces to the exclusive KANE gig at the Metropolis studios in London… much a do about nothing but on Saturday night things were happening; Dinand shouted welcome 2 London and the fans could enjoy a perfect set in which old KANEsongs and the New stuff were displayed and things came to a suprising end with a unique -Let‘s get married Luce - version of It’s London calling… heart warming stuff… from us ladies (and in a couple of days from nearly everybody we guess) congrats darlings… that’ ll be a mindblowing jummy party and a even more so married life, no doubt haha.
Gina, or as we call her Miss G. or the biggggggggggggest KANEfan from the UK - oh yes she is!-, also was present on Saturday and took some nice pictures and wrote a report on what happend. Check Kane Rocks for that! And if you hadn’t guessed by now Miss G. is back in town and is busy again with her site and promised to go nutts with all of us in 2009 at those KANE gigs... and Gina we soooo like that!!!

We lazen dat Davey een beetje hulp vraagt… en dus vragen we jullie om Davey te helpen:
Op 5 januari 2009 start een volledig nieuw station genaamd MnM!! Nu kan je kiezen welk nummer MnM als eerste zal draaien op 5 januari en zou het nu niet leuk zijn mocht dat Kane zijn??? Dus mensen dat wordt stemmen...maakt nie uit waar je woont, waar je bent, wie je graag hoort...nee geen keuze KANE met SHOT OF A GUN!!! Iedereen moet natuurlijk wel zelfde nummer kiezen en aangezien Shot of a gun hier toch nog op radio en tv in airplay staat opteer ik deze. Dus hup hup loop nie zo te treuzelen maar stemmen die handel! Je kan alles mooi via deze link invullen. Zelf een nummer kiezen en Kane met Shot of a gun invullen met je gegevens er bij. Music for Life & Serious Request

Vanaf vrijdag 19 tot en met woensdag 24 december zamelt Studio Brussel met Music For Life 2008 weer geld in t.v.v. projecten van het Rode Kruis. Dit jaar staat de focus op moeders op de vlucht voor oorlog en geweld. Niet leuven maar Gent is de place to be deze keer want het glazen huis met dj’s Tomas De Soete, Siska Schoeters en Heidi Lenaerts staat op ‘het Zuid’ in Gent. En nu je je favoriete (KANE) single aanvragen en tegelijk doneren voor het Rode Kruis project van dit jaar. Hoe je dit kan doen (via een overschrijving, telefonisch of via sms) en alle info over Music for Life 2008 kan je vinden op deze pagina of op de Studio Brussel website.
Ook de Nederlandse collega’s van radio 3FM zamelen vanaf vrijdag 19 tot en met woensdag 24 december met Serious Request 2008 weer geld in t.v.v. projecten van het Rode Kruis. From Friday the 19th until the 24th of December Belgian radio Studio Brussel will collect money with Music For Life 2008 to benefit a project of the Red Cross. This year the focus is set on mothers on the run for war and violance. This year the glass house with dj’s Tomas De Soete, Siska Schoeters and Heidi Lenaerts can be found at ‘het Zuid’ in Gent. Like each year you can request your favourite (KANE) single and donate to the project the campaign supports. Kerst op Qmusic, JIMtv en TMF

Leuk om weten is dat je nu twee KANE singles, It’s London Calling en Believe, in Alexandra’s Hi5 op Qmusic kan stemmen! Twee perfecte ‘kerst’singles vinden de ladies… dus stem ze dat lijstje in! En luister naar Qmusic van maandag tot vrijdag om 12u of ze’t gehaald hebben ;)

Update Dinand

Gisteren smeet Dinand weer een update op de KANE hyves:
Ja! Nog een week dan maar... 't is leuk dus waarom niet. Net Paul de Leeuw gekeken en moet zeggen dat klonk heel fijn. Voor Lotje, dus dan moet het wel goed. Live TV kan op 1000 manieren misgaan, vaak door jezelf en net zo vaak door het programma. Bij Paul zit dat helemaal goed. Weet ook niet echt waarom we elkaar dit jaar pas tegenkwamen, maar we zijn er het jaar geopend en we hebben het bij 'Mooi Weer De Leeuw' afgesloten met een fraaie versie van 'SHOT OF A GUN'.. en een beetje 'WILD HORSES'. Nou vooruit dan, je weet nooit of ze het uitzenden.. nog een beetje 'DREAMER' dan. En ze zonden het uit!!!
Dan nog een laatste KANE week op 538. 'IT'S LONDON CALLING BABY!!!' Zeker te weten. Ik zei toch dat december nog een staartje had. Een behoorlijke prive gig in London net voor Xmas!!! Niet slecht lijkt me zo... Zaterdag a.s. hebben we een date als je er bij zit.. en anders zien we je volgend jaar.
Zo en zo een hele fijne kerst, maar ik heb het vermoeden dat we elkaar nog wel even spreken... Adios! D.

Only one week to go!

Yesterday evening Dinand wrote a New update on the KANE hyves:
Yes! Only one wek to go... It's fun so why not. Just watched the show with Paul de Leeuw and it sounded nice. For Lotje, so it had to be good. Live TV can go wrong in a 1000 ways, often by your own doing but just as often with some help of the show. At Paul it’s always perfect. Don’t know the reason why we ran into each other only this year again, but we’ve made a visit to his show at the start of this year and ended the 'Mooi Weer De Leeuw' show this year with a nice version of ‘SHOT OF A GUN'.. And a little 'WILD HORSES'. And hell, you never know they’ll show it.. and a little 'DREAMER' as well. And they showed it!!!
And then there’s that KANE week on Dutch Radio 538. 'IT'S LONDON CALLING BABY!!!' for sure. Didn’t I mention December wasn’t over yet. A kick ass private gig in London just before Xmas!!! Not bad if you ask me... We got a date next Saturday if you make it.. if not we’ll be seeing you next year.

KANE bij Paul

Niet op 19 december maar gisteravond kwam Dinand met z’n mannen langs bij Paul de Leeuw - jaaaa doe’s niet wat ze van je verwachten he.. Zoiets. Het was op vraag van Lotje (7 jaar en übercute is ze) die nou ook wel’s KANE live aan’t werk wou zien want ze mag nooit mee met haar ouders als die - weer een keer - naar een KANE concert gaan… Op de foto met de heren wou ze niet, ze live aan’t werk zien en horen DAT wou ze - die meid weet gewoon hoe’t moet ;) - en ze kreeg een bloedmooie versie van ‘Shot Of A Gun’.
Mooi! Weer de leeuw gemist gisteravond of wil je’m nog een keer bekijken (KANE en Lotje komen ongeveer op 44:55) dan kan dat via de website van het programma of via deze link.

KANE on tv

Not as promised on the 19th of December but last night Dinand and his men visited Dutch television show Mooi! Weer de leeuw with host Paul de Leeuw - why don’t you do something that wasn’t planned right.. Like that. They attended the show as Lotje (7 years young and cute as hell) was kinda upset with her parents as she never could come along to those awesome KANE concerts… she didn’t want to take a picture with the guys, no she wanted them to perform - that little sweetheart just knows what it all is about ;) - and she got a beautiful ‘Shot Of A Gun’.

Dinand in de ochtend

People listen up! He made it… en 3fm dj Giel was oh zo blij. Met Dinand, Dennis, Ivo of met champagne die D. bij had dat moeten we nog ff checken maar t’was fijn daar in de studio, das duidelijk. Hoe fijn kan je (her)beluisteren/bekijken via de website van Giel . Daar ook te vinden een prrrrrachtige kerstbelletjes versie van ‘It’s London Calling’ (‘dingding-dong’) en de ULTIEME kerstsingle, in KANEland toch, ‘Christmas time won’t be the same without you’ … hij was fijn. Echt.

Waking up with Dinand

People listen up! He made it… and 3fm dj Giel really was happy about that. Happy to see Dinand, Dennis, Ivo or to see the champagne D. brought over that’s not really clear but one things clear: it was very cosy waking up with Dinand and Giel this morning, for sure. Also added on there a superrrrrrrrb christmas bells version of ‘It’s London Calling’ (‘dingding-dong’) and the ULTIMATE christmas single, in KANEland that is, ‘Christmas time won’t be the same without you’ … nice one. Herkansing voor Mr D.

Hij had Giel al een keer eerder in de kou laten staan (haha) en vanochtend deed hij’t weer; Dinand had vanochtend samen met Dennis en Ivo (hij-was-erbij) een date met Giel maar dat draaide ff anders uit - D. lag in z’n nest en bleef daar liggen blijkbaar, tot grote ‘vreugde’ van die andere D. en Ivo. Na een spontane Sorry Giel (die je hier hier of hier kan bekijken/beluisteren) werd er meteen een herkansing bezoek aan Giel op de agenda van morgen, 9 december, gezet. Mooi zo… dus… morgen luisteren allemaal misschien vertelt D. wel een leuk nieuwtje ;)

Come again?

He stood up Dutch radio 3fm vj Giel Beelen once before but this morning he’d managed to do so again; Dinand was expected to show up at Giel’s morning show along side Dennis and Ivo (he-was-there-tohooo) but that didn’t really happen - D. was snorring away in his cosy bed instead of standing in the 3fm studio, to much ‘joy’ of that other D. and Ivo. After a spontaneous I’m Sooooo sorry Giel (which you can listen to or watch by using this link or this link) they made a New appointment for tomorrow, the 9th of December @ Giel’s morning show. Awesome.. So… better listen to that one because Mr. D. might share some exciting news ;)

Zoals Dinand het al schreef in z’n update op de KANE hyves… KANE is ook in december in your face… leuk he haha. Volgende week Maandag, 8 december, zijn ze te gast bij Giel en op Vrijdag 19 december brengen ze een bezoekje aan Paul’s show Mooi! Weer de Leeuw. En ergens eind december komt er nog een kicken KANE actie ook! Ja… ofzo… ff afwachten, deal?!

As we can read in Dinand’s update on the KANE hyves… KANE still is in your face in December… ain’t that sweet haha. Next Monday, the 8th of December, the guys will make a visit to Dutch radio 3fm to talk to vj Giel Beelen and on Friday the 19th of December they’ll visit the Mooi! Weer de Leeuw show with host Paul de Leeuw. Still a rumour but not for long; the amazing KANE surpise/contest somewhere at the end of December! We think… maybe… hang on for that one, deal?!

.... HMH AT LAST!!!

En ook de HMH kreeg een nabeschouwing van Dinand op de KANE hyves:
Zo dan.. Dat was een bewogen maand met een heel snel laatste weekje! Afgelopen zaterdag Den Haag en zondag de laatste uit een hele goede, zo niet beste KANE 'EVERYTHINGYOUWANT' 2008 tour. 'De HMH'... Niet de meest sexy naam, voor niet de meest sexy zaal, ha, ha, maar daar kon aan gewerkt worden. 'T is een fijne zaal dat wel, zeker als ie vol is. En vol was het! De afsluitende gig voor ruim 5600 mensen in een afgeladen HMH...
'FREE, R.E.A.L for all the boys & galls, op Guido's nek tijdens DAMN THOSE EYES, 'Everybody on the dancefloor'.. tijdens CATWALK CRIMINAL, een fraaie 'TOUGH' en tot slot 'WHERE DO I GO NOW'... Het was een heel goed weekend, het was een heel fraaie zondagavond, het was een hele leuke maand november. De 'EVERYTHING YOU WANT' tour speelde zich af voor bijna 19.000 mensen, de songs spreidde zich uit over 5 albums van 'WHERE DO I GO NOW?' tot aan 'IT'S LONDON CALLING'. Nieuwe fans, oude fans... Rotterdam, Groningen, Utrecht, Gent en alle andere plaatsen; Het was echt heel goed jullie weer te zien. Thanx voor zoveel, thanx voor november!!! Maar 't is nog niet gedaan he! December heeft nog een laatste staart! Adios! D.

Just like all the other gigs the HMH gig also got reviewed by Dinand on the KANE hyves:
Ok.. It was a very hectic month and a very quick last week! Last Saturday we were at The Hague and on Sunday we were at the last venue of a very good, I dare to say the best KANE 'EVERYTHINGYOUWANT' 2008 tour. 'The HMH venue'... Hasn’t got a sexy ring to it has it, and it ain’t a sexy venue either, ha, ha, but you can work on that. It’s a nice venue, even more so when it’s sold out. And sold out it was! The final gig with 5600 people at a packed HMH venue...
'FREE, R.E.A.L for all the boys & galls, singing on Guido's neck during DAMN THOSE EYES, 'Everybody on the dancefloor'.. during CATWALK CRIMINAL, a very nice 'TOUGH' and finally 'WHERE DO I GO NOW'... It was a very good weekend, it was a very nice Sunday evening, it was a very nice November. The 'EVERYTHING YOU WANT' tour was attended by almost 19.000 people, the songs were chosen from 5 albums going from 'WHERE DO I GO NOW?' to 'IT'S LONDON CALLING'. New fans, old fans... Get you’re groove on…

Na een korte nacht oogjes toe en snaveltjes dicht reden de ladies in de sneeuw richting Amsterdam… plan van aanval; saté met friet eten en warme choco met room ergens vinden en dansen met KANE in de black box… saté check, warme choco check maar dansen ruilde deze lady in voor een balkon view maar dat mocht de pret niet verpesten - in tegendeel. Eerste keer de HMH is een dingetje; een spiegelpaleis/doolhof vonden we maar wat gevonden moest worden werd eh op tijd gevonden haha. Omdat ik wijselijk beslist had deze keer niet in de zaal te gaan staan (het Paard, tweede rij snuffert bijna in een gitaar gedrukt..; top that baby) maar op het balkon stond kreeg ik het totaalpakket show/licht/vibe (waar zijn die handjes zegt ‘wedgy’ altijd) wat mij een aantal keer met open mond liet staan… je ziet toch dingen die je nooit eerder zag zo vanop zo’n balkon. De zangeres van STEREO, het voorprogramma, moet nog ff wennen aan haar job maar komt goed, vast… hoop ik. Die andere band op dat podium, KANE, speelde gewoon de zaal plat (wat een geluid in die zaal wow) en dankzij Din’s wandeling in het publiek werd de tribune ook ff wakker. Mooie show, super vibe, wereldband… en die wereld veroveren is nog steeds de boodschap heren!!!!

HMH report

After a short night of shutting up and snorring for the ladies it was time to drive up to Amsterdam in the snow… action plan; eat a saté with fries, drink a hot coco with cream and party in the black box… saté check, hot coco check. But somewhere along the line I switched the party in front of the stage for the devine balcony view which turned out a very good move afterwards. When you visit the HMH venue for the first time you may find yourselve in bit of a state… things aren’t easy to find there but everything was found eh just in time haha. My move to take a place on the balcony instead of in front of the stage (at the Paard venue we stood seconde row with our nose almost smashed into someone‘s guitar..; top that baby) I got a nice view on the show/the lights/the vibe below which made my mouth drop a few times… the female singer of the band STEREO, opening band that night, still has get to get used to her new job, I pray for her. That other band, KANE, brought down the house again (blown away by the sound in that black box) and thanks to Din’s walk in the crowd everybody got a great view. Nice show, great vibe, amazing band… go and conquer the world my friends!!!

that's Alllll night…

En de ladies zetten weer voetjes in België na een lekker, rock & roll, sneeuwvlokjes tellen met z’n tweetjes, na KANE om een uur of 2 s'nachts nog chocolade taart van die leuke hotel-boy krijgen voor't slapen (wat Do zeer lief vond trouwens) gaan en action packed weekendje Den Haaaaaaaag (zoals we’t mochten horen Zaterdag). De EVERYTHINGYOUWANT tour zou nog twee keer voorbij denderen en wij waren op de afspraak. Eerst op onze agenda stond inchecken in het hotel (lekker Zen) waarna we moesten shoppen (ja dames) waar we weer honger van kregen (satésaus… ow nee die’s voor morgen) en een ten slotte een meeting met de Limburgse afdeling goed kwam. Nog ff de kroeg in (hakuna matadaaaaa) en of we niet al in de rij moesten - ik had al genoeg wijn binnen so why the hell not he - hop wij richting het Paard. Lekker vlotjes verliep het inlopen (nee echt geen bodycheck?), jassen weghalen (dankjewel astamblieft) en plekje zoeken ergens rechts voor het podium (er was mij een belofte gedaan en ik kwam em halen weetjewel). En daar stormde al die vrolijke bende van GEM het podium op… ik vind ze lief… ik vind ze lekker… ik vind ze goehooooed. Duidelijk zo? Na het setlist ritueel (roadie plakt, fans schieten alvast hun camera’s warm, roadie plakt weer, fans schieten weer, deze 1m58 leest de setlist, je hoort een JAHAAAAAAA en er was er eentje blijhij) klonk de So glad remix (ahah) en werd het Paard verwend met een setlist van 22 pareltjes waaronder Let it be, R.E.A.L, Way down inside, Shot of a gun (met wild horses), All day and all of the night (U is beeeeedankt), Tough, Where do I go now en bloedmooie afsluiter Before you let me go. Het was meer dan genieten, deze was gewoon LEKKER heren, Bedankt!

And so the ladies return home after an action packed weekend filled with yummie-ness, rock & roll, eating delish' choclate cake at 2 pm (which we got from that cute hotel boy) after the KANE gig (you liked that one didn't you Do haha) and snow drops on our heads in The Hageuuuuuuuuuu (like it was spelled out for us on Saturday). The EVERYTHINGYOUWANT tour would run over us only two times but we were ready for it. on our agenda first; check-in at the hotel (nice and Zen) on to some shopping (yes ladies) oh boy we’re hungry (satésaus… oh no that’s not today) and a meeting with the Limburg departement. Time to hang out at the local bar (hakuna matadaaaaa) and on to the venue - I filled up on wine so why the hell not. Nice and smooth things went (sure you’re not doing that bodycheck), putting away our stuff (thanks really) finding our spot on the right side of the stage (promises need to be kept don’t-ya-know). And it was already time for that nice GEM lads… think they‘re sweet… think they‘re yummie… think they’re fiiiiiiine. Made myself clear, did I? After the setlist ritual (roadie tapes, fans shoot their camera’s warm, roadie tapes again, fans shoot again, this little lady reads the setlist, you can hear a YESSSSSS and someone was happy baby) there was the So glad remix (ahah) and the Paard venue got a 22 piece setlist with Let it be, R.E.A.L, Way down inside, Shot of a gun (with wild horses), All day and all of the night (You are sooooooooo sweet), Tough, Where do I go now and a beautiful Before you let me go. It was beyond enjoying, this one was MAGIC guys, thanks!

SWEET LIKE HONEY MELTING OVER ME...

Dinand smeet na het Paard volgende update op de KANE hyves
En dus staan we weer even thuis. De 'bijna' laatste gig van het jaar brengt ons naar weer een uitverkocht thuis. 23 april waren we er ook... dat was een shock voor Dennis & mij. Net plaat af en gelijk het podium op... we wisten niet wat voor en achter was... Vanavond was dat heel anders.
Zonder twijfel het hardste gebulder uit de zaal bij opkomst. Zonder twijfel de langste setlist van de tour. Zonder twijfel een van de beste 'SHOT OF A GUN's, 'RAIN DOWN's & IT"S LONDON CALLING's' van de tour... Twee toegiften en een hele fijne 'WHERE DO I GO NOW?'. Het was goed er weer te zijn. Sweet revenge ook een beetje op onszelf. Nice!!!
Dat was het Den Haag. 2008 zit erop voor ons. Zoals altijd was je weer thuis, zoals we het hopen te vinden. Bedankt iedereen voor het uitverkopen van deze zaal in 5 minuten en wat gecrashte systemen!!! Bedankt iedereen voor zoveel.
Heb een top laatste stuk van het jaar Den Haag. Zie je ergens in 2009! En nou op naar die oude dame... Amsterdam! Weltrusten, D.

After they played at the Paard van Troje venue Dinand wrote on the KANE hyves:
And so we’re back home for now. The ‘almost' final gig of the year brings us to another sold venue. On the 23th of April we were there as well... Kinda of a shock for Dennis & myself. Just finished the New album and get your ass on stage... We were all over the place... Tonight things were very different.
Without a doubt the loudest applause when we got on stage. Without a doubt the longest setlist of the tour. Without a doubt one of the best 'SHOT OF A GUN's, 'RAIN DOWN's & IT"S LONDON CALLING's' of the tour... Twice we were shouted back on stage and we played a very nice 'WHERE DO I GO NOW?'. It was good to be back. Sweet revenge for the both of us it was. Nice!!!
So that was it for The Hague. We turned the page on 2008. Like always you were home to us, the way we like to find it. thanks everyone for the sold out (it was sold out in 5 minutes which caused a crash at the online ticketservice) notification!!! Thanks everyone for so much.
