Safari, get your act together

I don’t use 1 browser, but I use 3 of them. 2 which I use every day, the other one once in a while.

Safari is my default one, my inspirationbrowser/readingbrowser/researchbrowser. And oh no, you will not see Google as my homepage, this lady uses Flickr.

That other daily browser is.. Opera. Absolutely not my favourite, some videoplayers don’t even work here, a lot of errors,.. But every day before I get to work, I open up Opera and I start reading the news and some other websites. And around noon, I open this browser again to do the same thing.

Firefox (oh, I do love their website), my previous default browser, only opens up for testingpurposes and to shorten my toread-list. Although I have the Deliciousbar in Safari, the one in Firefox is much better when you want to open up a lot of webpages.

Due to the last Safari-update, I see that spinning beachbal more and more, and for me – a very impatient surfer – that is absolutely the most irritating thing that can happen while surfing. I still keep giving Safari chances, because  in my opinion, it is still faster then Firefox, and it just looks clean.

So, dear Safari, please get your act together and stop showing me that colourful beachball, otherwise I will have to dump you for the good old Firefox, with tears in my eyes.

Business cards

I’ve got them! Finally! My own business cards. 2 years ago, I hardly needed them, but since I’m getting more active in looking for a job, and from time to time I speak with possible sponsors for a little project of mine, I kind of need those paper things.

So why didn’t I get them a year ago? Because I’m a doubter. At first, I’m going for that style, I’m finding it perfect, I go to bed and I look at the design again the next day. What happens? I throw it away. Time after time. Not good enough, I can do better, I don’t think others will like it,… Time after time!
But a few months ago I got a great invitation where I deffinatly needed some business cards. So I thought about it again and I’ve ordered them.

But finally, they have arrived, and I’m satisfied. It’s the 3th time I ordered something at moo.com, and every time I’m extremely happy when I’ve got the little package. This time there were some problems with the delivery (my address didn’t exsist somehow..) but they fixed it with a smile!

About graduating, about looking for work, or should I go to school for a couple more years? About my 6 month adventure in Denmark, about passion, about…

In English, because I already tried the Dutch version. Because I know more than 10 people who don’t speak Dutch. Because I want to learn English (oh yes, my English is far from perfect). Because I love talking with people all over the world. But, sorry guys, I’m staying in Belgium for a couple more years.

Now, because this is a very weird time for me. Currently I’m living in Denmark, I’m graduating here, I’m graduating in Belgium. I have to find a job in Belgium, or I have to find a good school where I can get a master-degree. Will I rent an appartment, or will I stay in a studenthouse? And that school vs work thing: that’s a hard one, because my bachelordegree is a little bit different from what I want to do later in life.
